Wireless sensor network is a new kind of meshwork with a big progress in micro-electronics, wireless communications and embedded system technology. It can real-time supervise, apperceive, gather and process data information of all supervision object. It has an extensive application foreground, and is highly recognized by the military field, the academia and the industrial field in many countries. The IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee protocol with low cost and low power consuming has provided an international standard of wireless communications for wireless sensor network between sensor nodes. It is constituted by physical layer and medium access control sub-layer of the IEEE 802.15.4-2003 standard, added network layer and application layer of the ZigBee criterion. TinyOS is a wireless sensor network operation system designed by the researchers in California University for the sensor nodes mica.The wireless sensor network based on IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee is applied in the industry locale device layer, for the purpose of solving problems of expensive disposing wire cost and weak anti-jamming ability while data is transmitting because the industry locale device layer adopts lineate sensor network. From the actual application of the paper, hardware research platform C51RF-3 and software develop platform IAR of wireless sensor network based on IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee are selected. As sensor nodes need the support of operation system in applications, TinyOS port on the microprocessor CC2430 of C51RF-3 is implemented. For providing an uniform international standard while communicating between sensor nodes, wireless communication protocol IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee is implemented on the sensor node based on TinyOS. To the point of over loading status in TinyOS applications, TinyOS kernel schedule mechanism is analyzed clearly, and a kind of TinyOS task schedule algorithm based on time-limit priority is implemented. Performance test indicate that data throughput of the sensor node and task real-time response are increased by adopting the TinyOS task schedule algorithm based on time-limit priority.
