It is pointed by some scholars that the AIDS becomes popular in China has been in a critical period which is spreading from high-risk population to general population. The AIDS is not just a medical concern, it has strong social attributes. The public are not just facing the disease popular problem, and more important are the social issues. So the UNAIDS CEO Peter Piot had been saying "journalists could save much more lives than doctors." But how the journalists report the AIDS, what kind of problems exists in the health reports such as AIDS, and how to improve these. All of these problems puzzle the news practical and academia all the time.The theme of this article is focused on the AIDS and media relationship under the information society background. Although the policy paradigms of public health in China have been changed better after the SARS incident, the reports about AIDS issues are still inadequate. Take the Guangzhou Daily reports on AIDS from 2003 to 2010 for example, this article would concern on how the mass media reports the AIDS, a health spread issue. On one hand, the contents of Guangzhou Daily AIDS reports would be analyzed. It is shown that the number, public date, appear way, sources, and theme of the reports have no big change, conversely, have assumed a modal way. On the other hand, in the text-oriented discourse analyze of the samples selected from Guangzhou Daily from the perspective of social constructivism, it shows the news text filled with heavy "death" breath, and detects the metaphor force of media topics have been built, such as stigma, discrimination and label. Besides, it also indicates that the news industry with the entertainment and lack humanism concern narrative way to report this issue under the business mode. To discover and solve problems, and find a better way to conduct the media control work in health spread like AIDS, the author has given some suggestions in the end.
