Research On VPN Technology Applications In Enterprise Backbone Network

With the large improvement of informatization level, enterprises have capital and technology need to invest in building and maintaining their own enterprise backbone network. In practice, in order to ensure the transmission of application data among the dispersed departments, and provide the service in different application security, reliability, real-time transmission need, we need to use mature backbone network VPN technology in Enterprise Backbone Network. Therefore, there is a significant importance in the resarch of the enterprise backbone network VPN related theory and technology.VPN application in enterprise backbone network involves aspects like enterprise backbone network construction, the design and implementation of VPN deployment and so on. In this thesis, the protocol architecture of a variety of backbone network VPN technologies, their characteristics and scope of application is studied. The application prospects of several major backbone network VPN technologies is compared.Secondly, enterprise needs the appropriate network management system to maintain VPN service running properly. The design and development of VPN network management system have been studied in this thesis. Develop network management system which support several mainstream backbone network VPN technologies, realize the background of VPN network management system.Thirdly, according to information services situation, enterprise needs design the plan when deploy VPN in backbone network. This thesis using the power enterprise application situation as an example, design an deployment solution of VPN in power enterprise backbone network meet the practical application needs in the power enterprise.Finally, according to the main requirements in VPN technology deploy in enterprise backbone network. Take the widely used MPLS backbone network VPN technology, and PBB VPN technology which apply in the emerging ethernet backbone network as the object of study, develop simulation models and design the simulation experiments. Make a verified about using VPN technology for enterprise backbone network to solve the requirment of isolate and quality of services in enterprise application data tranport.
