Spatial data is the core of GIS. Many present spatial data management systems are usually only attached importance to storing and managing graphical data and attribute data of GIS in RDBMS. The graphical data in RDBMS is stored and managed as files , the attribute data is stored and managed as RDBMS. This GIS spatial data management system based on RDBMS is not satisfied to the demands for users to inquire about a lot of important graphical data in GIS, is not hold out for many users to seek it at the same time , and is not satisfied the network sharing development. This paper has designed and developed the GIS spatial data management system based oriented object in structure C/S under related techniques about spatial database and components GIS, as spatial database platform of Oracle, and as engine of ArcSDE, this system has realized the effective arrangement, safe storing, distributed service of GIS in order to provide the effective solution for GIS spatial data arrangement and management.Using Oracle 10g as the back database and second development components based on ArcSDE as the logical median components , using ArcEngine and its usual attributes, methods and events, under .NET development environment, with C# language, the GIS spatial data management system, that has the perfect spatial data process, spatial analyst functions and entire visualization tools, is developed in this paper.Using UML and Rational Rose model tools, applying to object oriented modeling techniques, the total design and detail design of this system is described in this paper. The static requirement models, the dynamic requirement models, the static object models and the dynamic object models are built up, the dispose diagrams, the component diagrams, use-case diagrams, the class diagrams, the object diagrams, the sequence diagrams, the combine diagrams, the state diagrams and the activity diagrams are designed, then the programming structure, the software interfaces and the programming technological processes of this system are also designed in this paper. This paper uses spatial database techniques based on oriented object, designs 1:10000 Harbin spatial database structure and attribute database structure, and realizes the GIS complex operation function, for example, inputting, editing, inquiring, analysis, input-database and renewing GIS spatial data, attribute data, image data and so on. Using the integrated storing techniques of spatial data based on ArcSDE, storing GIS spatial data and image data in the BLOB type field of Oracle database, using integrated showing of drawing and writing, this system realizes the function integrated storing, managing and showing the graphical data(DLG data), the attribute data and the image data(DOM data). This system integrates together GIS graphical ,attribute and image data, realizes GIS data integration and sharing from many resources, is beneficial to the development, application and integration of GIS spatial data, so that advantages of GIS spatial database is fully used. It solves the question about the integration techniques of spatial and attributes data by GIS in order to provide possible technological solution to the development and application of GIS spatial data management system.
