A Research Of Network Management System Based On VPN Technology

VPN(Virtual Private Network), providing individual secured network upon the public telecommunication infrastructure, is a kind of new internet technology which has been developing with the widespread usage of the Internet. With the scales of enterprises getting larger, VPN technology has been widely employed; however, the complicated configuration process and variant commands directly influence the VPN management by the Internet operator. To design and realize the VPN management system would be significant to enhance the efficiency of VPN deploy and improve the information management.The present paper is based on the design and implementation of the L2VPN management system. The system is built on the B/S framework with the front and backstage system. The system front stage employs JSF, Spring, Hibernate and other technology; the development of the back stage system involves multithreading, JGroups and Telnet Client tools. The system front stage conduct VPLS(Virtual Private Lan Service), VLL(Virtual Leased Line), PBB(Provider Backbone Bridge) three L2VPN network information management, mainly includes VPN information, AC link information, PE information and VPN deploy task information, which aims to clarify the whole information management. The system ensures the convenient process of the network deploy via filling and selecting parameters wizards, and it also improves the management level of the L2VPN network and the infrastructures by the Internet operator. The system specially studies the development of general purpose module, simplifies the development procedure of the list page, shorten the cycle times of the system development. The back stage of the system includes configuration of the infrastructure, communication equipment and task management, etc. The present system has been implemented and brought into operation.
