Design And Research Of The L2VPN MPLS TTCN-3 Protocol Test System

MPLS L2VPN is a layer2virtual private network based on MPLS technology.Because the complex of this technology and the difference between the different kinds of devices,sometimes,there will have some unexpected accidents.So,every network devices should be tested before they get into the network.This subject comes from the need of communication company,TTCN-3language is widely used in the protocol testing field.In this paper.I develop a test tool using TTCN-3.The main work in this paper focus on this three aspects:1.Study of the under testing systemThe under testing system is the L2VPN feature of swith’s operating system.It contains2sub-feature:VPLS&VPWS.They use MP-BGP and LDP as signaling protocols.In the paper,We discussed the main characteristic of the under testing system in technical field,after this,we done the detailed analysis of the signaling protocol so that we can know the real requirement of this protocol test.2.Develop the test systemAfter known the test requirement,I accomplished the test plan and design the test cases for refinement.Then prepared the test system and environment based on TTCN-3language and done the coding work.3.Experiment and trouble analysisIn the end,tested the router and switch devices, analysed and illustrated the problems found by the test system.
