With its low probability of intercept, high range resolution, without blind area in range and simple structure, the linear frequency moudulation continuous wave (LFMCW) radar attracted increased attention recent years. On the ground of one radar signal processing system, the dissertation expatiates the design and implementation of this system. This dissertation first presents the system configuration and employment theory of LFMCW radar, and makes particular analysis to the echo signal of toothed LFMCW radar, which provides theoretics basic for the system design. Then bases on the function requirement and signal model of the system, the hardware design is given, and detailedly introduce the hardware design of the core card—processing card, which include the choice of chip, structure design, power supply module, topology design, and the memory module. Whereafter the dissertation presents the logic in FPGA in detail, which comprises DSP reset design, FFT, MTI and the data transmission between FPGA and DSP via the data bus and linkport. The dissertation also introduces the key arithmetic in DSP briefly.Eventually the dissertation introduces a testbench based on Hardware-in-the-loop and the test method and the test result is presented. The result indicates: the system satisfy the anticipative requests and the performance is dependable and steady.
