Because of the advantages of high range resolution,low cost,and low system power consumption,LFMCW radars are widely used in military and economic fields.With the rapid development of programmable logic devices and digital signal processors,the processing capability and processing speed of LFMCW radar signal processing modules have been greatly improved.Since the deepening of theoretical research,the signal processing theory of LFMCW radar has made its signal processing methods diversified.This project is designed for a LFMCW radar signal processor,which is suitable for airborne radar missile warning.This thesis focuses on the LFMCW signal processing algorithm and program design The LFMCW radar signal processor processes the IF received signal to obtain the missile's distance velocity and angle information.This thesis completes the design of the entire FPGA system which based on design requirements.Other than,Design passes the system on board test.The main content of this thesis is divided into four parts.1.Introduced a coherent signal processing algorithm for LFMCW radar,including pulse compression,moving target detection and so on.2.The airborne radar transmission signal is selected according to the application scenario.The LFMCW radar processing scheme is introduced.The LMS algorithm based on power inversion is selected to suppress the interference of the strong direct wave signal.In order to obtain the distance and velocity information of the missile,pulse compression algorithm and moving target detection algorithm are adopted.In order to obtain the speed information of the missile,a sum of difference beam angle measurement algorithm is used.For verifying the theoretical feasibility of the scheme,the simulation of the system and the analysis of the simulation results are given.3.This thesis describes the FPGA chip selection of the system.The functions that the system needs to implement are analyzed and divided into multiple functional blocks for design.The system module includes a direct wave cancellation module,a difference beam forming module,a pulse compression module,and a target information acquisition module.ModelSIM was used to perform functional simulation verification of each module to ensure that the design meets the expected requirements.4.Introduced the test of the direct wave cancellation module on the board.The effects of cancellation and stemming ratios on the cancellation effect is analyzed.System testing of the entire LFMCW radar signal processor.The design is verified through online testing to meet project requirements.
