The increase based on vehicle population brings the increase of car incidents years by years. Among the reasons which cause the incident, drunk drive absolutely bears the brunt of any danger. By now, to decrease the phenomena of drunk drive, the only way is using alcohol examiner to determine whether the driver drunk or not in the field by traffic police. Because the examiner device is not assembled in the car, so policeman has to hold the device to effect one by one. By using this kind of method, traffic jams occurs quite often because of efficiency. So to be the drunk drive forbidden is hard to achieve. The research brings the design about on-board alcoholic examiner and controlled circuit based on GPRS/GPS technology to monitor the drunk drive in real-time. To determine the alcoholicity of the driver through the alcohol-smell sensor controlled by alcohol-exam circuit assembled on-board, then send the signal to the traffic center by using GPRS. At last the center dispatched police resource to control the whole process through GPS which assembled in the car. Compared with the traditional design, it brings the precise position to the traffic center which can monitor efficiently. To increase the reliability of the design, I got the improvement in several detail for example data collection and circuit control. The process of data collection includes not only alcoholic-exam function, but also distinguishes whether the date comes from the driver or not. And the control circuit comes two parts:one is start-up control which triggered the circuit by GPRS module through the date comes from alcoholic-exam device, the other is the circuit protection from detach which could be shut down by force.
