The research content of this paper is derived from the scientific project named “the research of HF frequency selection and link establishment system”. According to the solution requirements of the HF frequency selection, this paper presents the HF communication basic module design and single board test design. The major work completed and the results achieved by the author ere as follows:(1)HF frequency selection and chain establishment system mainly consists of user terminal.HF chain establishment controllerd and HF channel machine, in order to realize rapid chain establishment and frequency selection, and the system control board of HF chain establishment controllerd is responsible for the operation to build chain HF communication protocol. In order to guarantee the normal operation of the communication chain establishment protocol, implementation scheme of various basic modules in HF communication control board is designed.(2)According to design scheme of the basic module, we design and implement the following modules: serial interface module, Ethernet front-end ports module, the system time module, general timer module, the module communicating with DAC chip, the watchdog module and the locking JTAG module. HF communication control board, as a core control device of the shortwave frequency selection and chain building system, adopts internet access to communicate with user equipment and use serial port to exchange data with the Modem, the Big Zipper module and transceiver. Inside the control panel system, the running timer module affords timing function for the state jumping of chain building agreement. And in order to maintain the synchronization between both sides of communication, the function of hibernation RTC is utilized, and through the hibernate RTC module, the system time synchronizing with the world standard time is ran in the control panel. Out of the respect for system security, after burning the ARM program, the JTAG locking function is executed. These function modules are indispensable parts to ensure the normal run of system protocol and control software.(3)The test scheme of communication control board in single board is designed and implemented. After welding communication control panel, in order to detect whether thesingle board can work normally, we write the testing program of PC users and test software and communication control panel, realize the test of serial port, Ethernet front-end ports, the system time and the communication with peripheral module in single board.After containing the basic module into the whole control board program, the tests verify that various functional modules can work normally and satisfy the performance requirements of the system. At the same time, the single board test for the burned controlling board also shows that the single board test satisfys the requirements of design.
