To realize comprehensive information construction, to make use of database technology to access data, to make information system change from supporting daily dealings to supporting analysis and decision making of management is crucial to future living development of enterprise.SANY heavy equipment company ltd introduced SAP ERP information system in 2007. The company developed fast in the past three years and thus leads to ERP data rise geometricaly.So ERP system operating efficiency dropped dramatically. System operators cannot grasp information accurately and rapidly and limitations come to support of management's decision. In this condition, it is urgent for SANY set up a business information warehouse to improve efficiency as well as provide technical support for daily operation analysis. SANY selects BW system to solve above problems.Firstly, the article analysis the BW system deeply, then based on related documents and my person experience, I build a decision making supporting system based on SAP BW data warehouse to do some experiment research in use of data warehouse. |
