With the rapid growth and wildly usage of the information technology, it's a high time for the government to analyze the numerous information came from various levels with highly accuracy. So the Statistical Bureau as a compound functional department plays a very important role of in charging of the statistic and national economy accounting. It has collected mass original statistic datum from different time, different major and different field. With the quick development of the national economy, it's become more and more urgent to solve the problem on how to use the statistic datum, analyze the datum quantitatively, so as to provide the supplementary strategies to the decision makers. Being a strategy support environment, data warehouse can assemble the datum including the datum in the isomeric transaction system, the external datum and the offline historical datum from different time and in different major into one unified platform. It can fully exploit the particular advantages of the datum process technology and the importance of the Statistic Bureau in the economy advance via the datum integration and transition, object-oriented datum recombination, on-line analysis processing and the datum mining. It also can effectively support the decision analysis to different object and multiple directions in the government departments. Hence the decision makers can be supplemented effectively and accurately.Based on the detailed transactions analysis in statistic system and the demand research this dissertation has settled the functional demand of this statistical comprehensive analysis system. This statistical comprehensive analysis system took the fundamental functional plane of the statistic analysis software released by the State Statistic Bureau as the reference and used the SQL SERVER 2005 as the data warehouse solution. The design ideal, system design and system catachrestic etc. has been fully analyzed in this dissertation. Then the data process flow and scheme came into being. Here the main steps were listed below:①According to the carefully research as well as combined with the current statistical tasks via the theory of engineering and components the demand analysis documents of the statistical comprehensive analysis system were finally implemented.②Successfully set up the data warehouse via the solution of SQL SERVER 2005 data warehouse. According to the demand analysis and referencing to the Web Edge Enterprise in Shenzhen Hua Yi Company the tables in the data warehouse had set up so as to meet the requirements for the after data model. The data source has been integrated through the data warehouse set up. Then the data in the various fields has been unified, it made the historical data become a live archive with its validity and duration.③Deigned the data process flow and made the design scheme for data process system.④Extracted, purified, exchanged and added the data into comprehensive data warehouse by the SSIS in SQL Server 2005. So a set of tools which can analyze the data comprehensively and forecast the social economy trend scientifically has been set up. It can make full use of the data in this analysis platform and thoroughly escape from the original low efficiency, low quality and biased analysis forecasting pattern.⑤Multi-dimension Displayed in the front-ended associated with the OWC 11.0 (Microsoft Office Web Components), provide the fine user interface. It made the dull figure turn into a kind of visual and clear style and then put into use in monitoring, analyzing and predicting for the macro economy.Up to now this statistical comprehensive analysis system has put into use in the Yuzhong Statistic Bureau in Chongqing. It runs very steady during the process.
