The teaching of information technology, according to the curriculum standard in vocational schools, should place emphasis on training students'ability to solve practical problems and take the initiative to explore information technology, and improving students'good information literacy so as to lay the foundation for students'sustainable development. Information technology curriculum, as the starting point of quality education, should develop students'creativity and practical ability.To meet the needs of the educational reform and students'development, this thesis brings up problem-solving model into vocational classroom teaching of information technology. Problem-solving model advocates the teacher-led, student-centered, issue-oriented and competency-based theory. It allows teachers to set up problem situations on the basis of teaching content to stimulate the students'desire for knowledge and subjectconsciousness as well as their ability of practice and innovation, therefore to improve their comprehensive ability to solve practical problems during the process of problem-identifying, analyzing and solving.From the perspective of instructional design ,this thesis makes an exploration of classroom teaching with problem-solving model and makes an analysis of its feasibility, design concept, design principle and design procedure, finally comes to the conclusion that applying problem-solving model into vocational classroom teaching of information technology is feasible, reasonable and effective.The methods of educational experiment, action research and survey research are employed in this thesis to carry out some practices, observations and reflections in the classroom teaching with problem-solving model. It has been proved that problem-solving model is superior to traditional teaching model according to the analyses of test results, ferial observation and questionnaire, and the comparison between the experimental classes and control classes The application of problem-solving model has achieved some effects. It cultivates the students'problem awareness by way of identifying problems and raising questions; It arouses the students'curiosity to explore the unknown and stimulates their motivation to learn in the designed problem situations, which enable them to experience the intellectual process of doubt bursting, logic reasoning and the joys following sudden understanding; It improves the students'thinking and learning ability, and strengthens the cooperation consciousness and teamwork spirit during the problem-solving process of spontaneous exploration and group work; It develops the students'skills of expression and organization through various forms of timely evaluation and feedback, meanwhile enables them to listen, understand and respect others, consequently perfect their own personalitiesTherefore, the problem-solving model, which accords with the requirements of curriculum reform and the characteristics of vocational school students, can surely improve teaching effectiveness. It is worth learning and popularizing.
