Research And Application On Collaborative Design-oriented 3C Integration Technology

The integration of CAD,CAPP and CAM under PDM framework,which not only realize the data sharing based on a unified data source and solve the problem of"information isolated islands"resulting from the applications of CAD,CAPP,CAM,PDM, but also make full of PDM workflow and process management and establish a cooperative process around product development to improve design quality.According to the requirement of Jianglu Electromechanical Science&Technology Co., Ltd, this paper aims at research and application on collaborative design-oriented 3C integration technology for Pro/E,XTCAPP,CATIA application systems based on Teamcenter Enterprise framework. The detailed study is addressed as follows:1. Based on profound analysis of the architecture and contents of the integrated system of CAD, CAPP, CAM and PDM, through analysis and comparison of various integrated methods,the product data exchange program under PDM document management is confirmed.2. Custommization Development towards Pro/E, XTCAPP and CATIA through application programming interface (API) technology is studied and the two main problems of product data export from 3C application system and product data preservation and registration in PDM system are solved.3. The concept, data structure and multi-view technology of BOM are introduced and the emphasis is put on the research and expatiation of data structure conversion issue during the evolutional process from EBOM to PPBOM.4. Flow direction of process data in 3C integrated system is analyzed. XML technology is adopted to achieve product data exchange and operational order transfer among CAD,CAPP,CAM and PDM in distributed environment.5. The general method of Object-oriented modelling via MODel is given in this thesis. Based on the analysis and regularization of product design and industry information, the integrated data model to be used in 3C integration can be established by MODel.6. Existing product development processes of the enterprise are analyzed. Based on collaborative idea, the workflow model of collaborative product design is put forward and it is customized to the Teamcenter LCM. At the same time, password verification mechanism and authority management combined with PDM are applied to secure integration system.
