Digital Asic Special Generating Random Sequence Of Tester Developed

Random data sequences and pseudo random data have been applied widely in many fields such as communications(including expand-frequency, satellite communications, secrecy communications , common communications ,and so on), radar, navigation, remote control, measure, automatic control, and so on. It plays an important role in these fields.The developing of the testing instrument for digital universal random data generating ASIC will be introduced in this thesis. It includes the hardware system and the software system for the testing instrument, and the test result for digital universal random data generating ASIC. In the hard system design, the circuit board will be shown how to design: Basing on TMS320VC5402 chip of TI corp., the communications between digital random data generator and outer devices will be realized, including UART and USB; And The schemes of D/A conversion development are studied in this thesis simply. In the software system design, the realization of the receiving and transmitting of random data and application software on PC will be introduced: It include the application software on PC and DSP controlling software, and USB software; the software above achieve the reading, receiving, transmitting, displaying and testing of random data from the ASIC.At last, the random data from the ASIC will be analyzed, and the results show the good performance of the Random data generating ASIC.
