Biometric recognition technology is science basing on one people's physics feather, chemistry feather and his behavior feather to verify the people's individual identity. With demand of the huge identity management system basing on individual identity verification becoming larger an larger, the necessary of researching on biometric recognition technology turns to be obvious.Iris recognition technology is one kind of biometric recognition technology that is of uniqueness, stability, fixedness lifetime and non-invasion. At present, the field of its application mainly contains sharing the computer resource on network, getting warrant to enter nuclear facilities, making telecommuting of finance and business affairs boarding. Aiming at the main defects of the traditional iris recognition technology, the work of this thesis is mainly centralized on these aspects as follows.On the basis of traditional iris recognition technology that has existed, the author enhance the iris image collection program with compiling interrupt program, in order that the system can collect continuous clear images in the way of interrupts, making sure that the module of iris image collection can run in a continuous state.Using the TMS320DM642 exploring board of TI company as the main body of the iris image recognizing processing module, loading the program of the iris image recognizing algorithm on it, and designing the assistant structure of Human-Computer. Interaction that is consist of collection switch, user enregister, recognition selecting switch and LCD displaying unit to make the module convenient for explanting the algorithm and user's operation.Improving the iris image recognizing processing algorithm on auto refusing the images that is weak in quality or doesn't have a whole iris massage in it, and advising the user to get the image renewedly, deleting the images that will get the system into a paralysis state or in which the facula isn't in the pupil, in order to ensure the system running steadily, enhance the algorithm's efficiency and precision. Designing a integrated method of burning flash,a communications program project aiming at burning program for different DSP systems of the series of TI C64xx,and complying a two grades boot-loader pagination driving program on basis of the Boot-loader, so that the system can be automatically loaded, realizing the flash offline recognizing.Experiments demonstrate that the system can be operated simply and steadily, enhan--ceees the efficiency and precision of the iris recognition technology, is of the value on practical application.
