| During the development of the electronic warfare equipments, it is an important part to test the performance of the equipments. Testing with radar simulators is rather low cost and flexible than external field test. With advances in DDS Technology and the introduction of high-performance DDS chips, DDS Technology is increasingly applied to the design of the radar Simulators.Began with the basic principle of radars, the characteristic of several common radar signals were first introduced in this paper. And then the principle of DDS Technology and the control methods of the AD9910 were introduced. On this basis, the idea of designing radar simulators with FPGA, ARM Microprocessors and AD9910 was discussed, and a detail design scheme was proposed. Followed, the way of designing the control interface program using the Qt library under ARM embedded Linux systems was researched, and the concrete implementation process of some key modules was given. At last, the transplantation process of the program to the development board was given, and the features of the program were validated. |
