Design Of Radar Signal Simulator Of Imaging Playback

Radar signal simulator of imaging playback is an important component of modern radar system. With the help of it we can debug the signal processor conveniently in the laboratory to check if the imaging algorithm has been optimized or the radar system works well. So the time and money can be saved.This paper discusses the design of the radar signal simulator system. Firstly, the paper introduces the development background. Secondly, based on the system design requirements, the entire system of radar signal simulator is put forward, and then focuses mainly on the detail analysis of the hardware modules separately, including the FLASH storage array, the DAC conversion and the common departments of the system. Thirdly, the logic of the FPGA design process is briefly presented. Finally, the paper arrives at the conclusion and sums up the prospect for the design.
