Automatic test and diagnosis system is an important component of weapon equipments. With the development of high and new technology, the automatization degrees of weapon system improve constantly. For adapting the characteristics of fast renovate and high automatization of weapon equipments, ATS architecture has been frontal study technologies in this field. A new kind of Automatic test system has been developed. This newly developed automatic test system can test all the seventeen parts of guidance system quickly and exactly. Meanwhile, it can store and print the test results, and put forward the maintenance strategy as well as the foundation.Firstly, based on the analysis of index requirements of the system, this paper introduce the design and implementation of the automatic test system according to test requirement of the missile system. The whole detection system is discussed in detail of the hardware structure design and test system of anti-interference design. Secondly, the test system has realized all the functional modules by means of Lab windows/CVI using the database techniques, the test function packages, the channel configuration tool, the object signal and adapter describe tool. Finally, the software functions of the whole test system has been accomplished by the way of the software testing , Docking and debugging. In addition, the mistakes among procedure has been fixed in the actual docking process, and the test system software. has been completed finally.The automatic test system can accomplish all the performance tests of missile system. It has passed the acceptance after experiment, docking and debugging with tested object.
