With the embedded technique developed,digital signal processor (DSP) has used extensively in many field such as communication,computer and so on.But the operation for signal processing of modern radar and sonar is often very large,which can not meet the real-time requirement by using a single DSP.Therefore,it becomes more and more important for us to use multi-DSP to compose a parallel processing system,in order to realize the real-time digital signal processing.This paper sums up the theory basic architecture of digital signal processing,and proposes the idea of parallel processing based on multi-DSP,aiming at digital of receiver system. With network technique,we design a hardware platform based on digital circuit system.A parallel processing system based on dual-DSP is introduced in this system.The basic background of linkport,the communication of DSP and ARM,A/D convention,and a detailed design of applicable FPGA are given.Finally,the crucial circuit designs for hardware platform are analyzed and researched.The software of the programmable device is designed.The paper designs a general hardware platform and realizes the parallel processing function by using reconfigurable and upgradeable application software.The results of preliminary experiment indicate that the digital receiver is capable of higher performance.To design a parallel processing system means much synthesis work in system configuration, network topology, algorithm research and real time operating system.Therefore,it must need the further research based on network architecture of multiprocessor,a parallel processing and the communication of multiprocessor in the future.
