In recent years, great interest was focused on micro-strip antennas for their small volumes, low profiles, good integration, low costs and good performance. With the continuous growth of mobile communication service and the constant miniaturization of communication equipment, there are higher and higher demands for the volume of antennas, integration and working band. The main task of this thesis is to design and study the multi-band miniature micro-strip antennas. In this thesis, the author summarizes the theoretical analytical methods and numerical analytical methods of the multi-band miniature micro-strip antennas and introduces the technology of the multi-band and miniaturization antennas. The multi-band and miniature micro-strip antenna techniques are studied. A novel design of dual-band micro-strip antenna is designed, and the dual frequency operation is achieved by load slot in rectangle antenna. A novel dual-band micro-strip antenna with the frequency channels DCS1800 (1.71GHz-1.88GHz and WLAN(2.4GHz-2.484GHz) is analyzed and designed by bending the patch and loading the aperture. By using the simulation software, the influence on the centric frequency is studied by changing the antenna's parameters such as the feed, the width of the slot, the position of the slot, and the length of the slot. Based on this slot, a L-U-groove Plannar Invertes F Antenna working three bands on GSM900/PCS1900/ISM2450GHz.Thus the laws of the variety are proposed. The achievements of physical models and principle analysis can be applied in the design and research of new micro-strip antennas in the future.
