| Remote experiment is the process which can operate laboratory equipment, observe the testing process and analysis the result by using the network off-site. Remote laboratory is the laboratory which can operate remote laboratory. Now, the number of most university students is increasing year by year, but experimental funds are not adequate. The appearance of remote laboratory is good for solving this problem, and it accelerates the cooperation between different universities or research unites, and it's meaningful for creating new experimental teach model and sharing the precious experimental equipment. In today's society, Internet is generally used, and it is the foundation of researching remote laboratory. Currently, remote laboratory is researched by many abroad universities or research unites and they build some remote laboratory system. However, after some research, most of remote laboratory systems only realize basic foundations, or they are still be prototypes or in demonstration phrase, and the performance of systems needs to be improved.Mobile Agent technology is the product which combines distributed computing technology with artificial intelligence. It is a new distributed computing model. Mobile Agent technology is used to remote laboratory system, and mobile Agent computing model is used between remote laboratory host and local system. It can provide remote real-time interactivity, expansibility, flexibility and reliability for remote laboratory system by its intelligence and ability of dealing remote data.In this paper, the importance is the research of mobile Agent in modern remote laboratory teaching; the main contents are as following:Firstly, the related theory of remote laboratory system is studied, and modern remote teaching system is analyzed. Mobile Agent technology is studied, and some related application of mobile Agent is studied.Secondly, mobile Agent is led into remote laboratory teaching system, builds remote laboratory teaching architecture which is based mobile Agent mechanism, develops a remote laboratory system, and designs a new remote laboratory teaching model, including system exterior model,system interior model,basic Agent system frame, realizes the functions of models in the system.Thirdly, experimental operation style of remote laboratory, management and maintenance methods, safety measures are studied. We use advanced architecture and development tools to research and develop the remote laboratory system which is open, safe to equipment and network, easy to remote operation, convenient to maintain and manage.Fourthly, the paper mentions Courseware mirror concept, and maximum use of local network teaching. Remote laboratory system can create a new network experiential learning model; abandon the traditional monotonous hits, and increase interests and effectiveness of remote laboratory study. |
