In the"four classes start television program"system of Chinese TV industry, the number of local TV stations is a huge contingent and there have been over 300 local television stations across the country recently. As media, the local television station is a special social organization, but it is not perfect and any crisis may happen at any time. Critical incident would undermine the media image and the crisis comes unexpectedly. The local television station should realize that it isn't only an important means to assist government and enterprises to solve crisis, and also needs to manage its own crisis so as to build good relationship with the public and ensure its steady and healthy development.Actually, crisis management for local television station has entered people's visual field for research, however, it is short of specific and unified research in the strict sense.
