The Study Of The University Library Subject-oriented Joint Information Service System

With the unceasing change of the information service environment as well as user information demand, it is very important to the realization of the university subject-oriented construction goals and promotion of the status of university libraries that how does the university library break its traditional service pattern, enhance subject-oriented service capabilities, meet the user's in-depth subject-oriented information needs, and maximize their function in teaching and research. However, the domestic university libraries still have some common problems, such as resources waste and cooperation shortage. Under such circumstances, the subject-oriented joint information service is the only way for innovation and development of university libraries.Based on the analysis of the guiding principle that the university libraries must obey while building the subject-oriented joint information service system, this paper construct a system of the university library subject-oriented joint information service through the concept of the system analysis and design. This paper conduct the studies from the following aspects:(1)Through the comparable analysis of the foreign and domestic university library subject-oriented information service, this paper elaborated the present related questions which exist in library subject-oriented information service in domestic university, proposing the conception of the university library subject-oriented joint information service.(2)Discussed the guiding rules that should be followed by while building the university library subject-oriented joint information service system. According to the general goals of the university library subject-oriented joint information service system, provided the corresponding guiding principles that the system must obey so as to guide the construction.(3)Building the university library subject-oriented joint information service system under the Web2.0 environment. Through the discussion of the characteristic and application of the related Web2.0 technology, then make further analysis of the feasibility that building subject-oriented joint information service system under the Web2.0 environment. Based on which, constructed the university library subject-oriented joint information service system, pointing out the structure, function and related service pattern of the system in detail at last.(4)Made some analysis and research of the related mechanism to guarantee the effective smooth movement of this joint services system. Proposed the corresponding mechanism to guarantee the effective smooth movement of this joint services system, and also analyzed how do the universities including in the system realize joint sharing by joint construction and joint management through the above mechanism.The concept that the university library subject-oriented joint information service system put forward above has enriched and expanded the content of the subject-oriented service theory, and also has some theoretical significance to the practice of subject-oriented joint information service.
