With the rapid development of digital technology, software radio technology is widely used in communications, radar, navigation and other areas. Marine emergency position-indicating radio beacons at the launch of the ship in distress situations coded radio distress beacon of information, this article uses software radio technology designed for the device routine testing and maintenance of digital receivers.This paper first analyzes the digital IF receiver basic theory and core technologies, according to EPIRB specific performance indicators and technical indicators, analyzing and discussing the critical parameters, simulating demodulation, decoding and other parts by matlab.Second, developed graphical user interface of the detector, after analying and comparing, home and abroad on the basis of typical graphical user interface, select based on Qt/Embedded and Qtopia graphical development tools to build the Qt/Embedded and Qtopia cross-compiler environment, has developed a Qt/ Embedded and Qtopia applications, and successfully transplanted into the ARM9 processor-based hardware system.Finally, summarized the deficiencies and the need for improved, the direction of the future work. is clear.
