Digital mobile radio is a kind of digital communication device with specific digital encoding method and specific baseband modulation format. Digital radio monitor is a kind of professional equipment with the ability of listening digital mobile radio voice communication content. With the radio signal monitoring technology and digital signal processing technology, digital radio monitor realizes functions of receiving, analysis, decoding, listening and recording the voice of digital mobile radio. The user interface unit application software and the drivers, which realize the spectrum scanning results display, protocol data processing results display, the real-time voice storage and playback and system management and configuration function, are important part of digital radio monitor.Based on summarizing the development situation of domestic and foreign radio monitor, first of all, the basic function and overall structure of digital radio monitor are analyzed in this paper, and data transceiver, data processing and equipment control three software modules are designed according to the functions of the user interface unit application software, and the spectrum detection algorithm and spectrum peak search algorithm used in the spectrum display processing are researched, and software interface between the user interface unit and the signal processing unit, as well as software interface among each module of the user interface unit are given; Then, the classification and function of the drivers are analyzed, and based on the bus device driver model and the device tree, the fundamental processes of the rotary encoder driver, keyboard driver, LCD controller driver, audio device driver and wired network card driver are designed, and in Linux operating system, the drivers of the user interface unit are programmed or transplanted with the GCC cross compiler tool chain and C/C++ programming language, and the boot loader, Linux kernel image, drivers and application software are deployed to the target board. Finally, the user interface unit application software and the drivers of digital radio monitor are debugged and tested, the test results show that the user interface unit application software and the drivers can run smoothly, the functions of the design requirements are implemented, and the performance specifications are satisfied.
