A Study On The Errors In Collation Of Reading

Wang Niansun is famous linguists in the Qianjia period, whoes book Du Shu Za Zhi is a collection of reading book including collation and exegetics.The book fully demonstrate the achievement in character, phonology,collation and exegetics of Wang Niansun.The thesis makes a systematic study on the error of Character pattern that were explicitly point out by Wang Niansun,using the book that was published by Jiangsu ancient books publishing house on2000. All the thesis can be divided into four parts:The first part is introduction,mainly introduce Wang Niansun and the main content of Du Shu Za Zhi,then make a brief introduction about the status of study on Du Shu Za Zhi and the error of Character pattern. In the meantime,I express the writing direction and writing method of the thesis. The second part mainly study the type of the error of Character pattern in Du Shu Za Zhi.I summarize all the cases and divid them into new types,including configural error and calligraphic error,and the two types cover many types. The third part summarize the reaons of error,and analyze the ways of Wang Niansun to find out errors. The fourth part generalize the academic value to collate the error of Character pattern in an angle with textual criticism, Chinese traditional semantics and lexicography, summarize the achievement and the impact on the later ages.In the end,we sum up the full text and stress the importance of the study about the error of Character pattern in Du Shu Za Zhi,at the same time, fully affirmed the position of Du Shu Za Zhi on linguistics.
