A Study On The Exegesis Of Wang Niansun's "Journal Of Reading Huainanzi

Wang Niansun was an important representative of Qianjia School in the Qing Dynasty.He was proficient in writing,rhyme and exegesis.His book Reading Magazine is a masterpiece of his exegesis and collation."Reading 〈Huainan Zi〉magazine" is a long and more extensive part of "Reading magazine".Wang made an in-depth study of Daozang and Huainan Zi,which set an example for later generations to study,exegesis and collate the book Huainan Zi.This paper is published in the Reading Journal of Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House.Make a certain summary of Wang’s exegtical terms,methods and contents.The first chapter is the exegesis terms used in Wang’s exegesis of Huainan Zi,and the commonly used terms with distinctive personal characteristics are divided into four categories,which are discussed one by one.The second chapter is the exegesis methods used in Wang’s exegesis of Huainan Zi,which can be divided into five kinds according to ancient teachings,font identification,essay examination,textual examples and sound analysis.The third chapter summarizes the contents of Wang Niansun’s exegesis,which is divided into three categories: correcting,explaining difficult words and difficult sentences,and correcting previous exegesis and proofreading.The fourth chapter summarizes the characteristics of Wang Niansun’s exegesis,whose main characteristics are: item summary and mutual view,good use of inclusion,quoting group books,and exegesis by sound.The fifth chapter examines the suspicious and false cases and the unfinished cases in Wang’s reading of Huainan Zi Magazine.In order to make a meager contribution to the exeegtical work of Huainan Zi.
