In 2009, the new medical entered to the stage of implementation. Now, the medical market has been consisted of the private hospitals, the public hospitals, the hospitals of preparing to restructure and the hospitals of end restructuring. Hospital as one kind of knowledge intensive and technology-intensive organizations, in order to meet the demand of patients hospitalized and adapt to the needs of the development of organization, it must conduct a comprehensive innovation by continuously learning. After the restructuring, the public hospitals have to face the medical market that be full of fierce competition,and they should use all available resource in the new develop road, and it must pay more attention to the theory of organizational learning, continuously improve the effectiveness of the hospital organizational learning and finally improve the level of performance.This thesis draws lessons from the existing theory about organizational learning and performance,and take Kunming Children’s Hospital as a case to make research. Then based on the BSC, using SPSS software to make the quantitative analysis, and combine the interview to make the qualitative analysis, in order to explore the relationship between organizational learning and organization performance. The result shows that Kunming Children’s Hospital take more attention to organizational learning after restructuring, and performance of hospital has been improved obviously. As is known to all, public hospitals as a national public welfare institution, they are not paying attention to input and output, and they have the relatively extensive management, and they exits some problems such as resource waste, inefficiency. After restructuring of Kunming Children’s Hospital,it adopt the advanced management ideas, such as "four modernizations plus one", it not only emphasizes the enterprise, and apply the good business principle of management to hospital,so that the operational efficiency of hospital has been improved. Besides, Kunming Children’s Hospital took advantage of Huarun’s own resources and broad platform to strengthen the hospital organizational learning ability, improve the professional quality of employees, provide satisfactory services, expand market share, promote hospital performance.Finally, this thesis puts forward some advice in order to enhance the role of organizational learning in improve the performance of the hospital. Firstly, hospital should bring in the advanced management modes, and adjust measures to local conditions to develop. Secondly, hospital should pay more attention to organizational learning, such as the connotation of the construction. Thirdly, hospital must strengthen medical technology innovation and service innovation. Finally, not only adhere to the hospital public welfare, but also adhere to the patient benefit as the center.
