Along with the economy's rapidly developing and the standard of living's improving in our country, the requirement of public traffic facilities become more and more. So many families own their private cars make the city traffic jams even worse. In order to change such conditions, we must improve the efficiency of city bus system and subway system. So it is a important way to study and build an advanced city intelligent bus management system to improve the efficiency of city buses and the buses'running conditions as well as its'services. Intelligent Bus manage system Belongs to the application study of intelligent measurement technology. It is the effective combination and application of several technology including modern optics, Global Position System and technique of computer. In using of the GPS, the system could obtain the buses'running records and output to the background processing computer that could provide effective supervision and management on city buses running. Nowadays, most countries in European have far-ranging applied such kind of system, and many cities in our country have already made it a key work to apply the system to improve their city's modern services level. Intelligent City Bus Management System include two parts—Mobile Terminal and Data Dispose Center System. Mobile Terminal itself include hardware and software two parts. In hardware part, there are GPS orientation module, SM store card, microprocessor, voice services unit, magnifying circuit digital display unit and so on. The working principle of hardware part is microprocessor receive the data transmitted by the GPS module from serial interface, and pick out the demanding data to compare with the predefined data of the bus stop's location information, then judge whether the bus has reached the very station. And the right data will be labeled and to be store into SM card. Mobile Terminal's include data selection, data analysis, data store and bus stations'sound services information and so on . According to the entirely design of the system, we must choose the main chips firstly. 1. Positioning Controller—select GRMIN GPS15 module which from BeingJing HeZhongSiZhuang Company. 2. Memory chip—select SM card produced by SAMSUNG which has 32M memory. 3. Microprocessor-select 78E58 which produced by Winbound Company and has 32K inner memory. 4. Power—because of the so bad power supplications of buses, the electrical current will be dropped down in several milliseconds when the bus start-up. Sowe must select LM2576 series power chips which have powerful anti-jamming capabilities. 5. Sound player—select msp53c39 series chips from TI company. 6. Display unit—select serial control chip CH451 from NanJingQinHeng Company. Microprocessor system part include reset circuit and clock circuit. The reset function is controlled by outer circuit. we select MAX705 to achieve the function. The pin7 of Max705 line to reset pin of MCU, the pin6 of MAX 705 line to P1 interface of MCU. The pin6 of MAX705 receive the signal continually, then the pin7 don't out lower level reset signal. When the system can't work normally, the pin6 can't receive the signals, then pin 7 will output a lower pulse for 10ms,thus make the whole system reset. For saving money, select outer clock circuit. There are three kind of powers in this system: 5v, 3.3v and 12v.we select LM2576-5, LM2576-3.3, LM2576-12 to produce them. Store card circuit design: we select LVXC3245 power transformer to change the 5v power to 3.3v in order to supply the SM store card working. For the reason of ensure the preciseness of memory, MCU circuit should concern the protection of system. The failures in writing/reading mainly because of the power supply'changing and externaldisturbances. So the reset circuit for the memory is essential. We select C programming language to build the whole software of the system which is easy programming, understanding testing, rebuilding and increasing. This program mainly include these parts as below: 1. Data selection: The data that produced by GPS module is transmitted from serial interface has several kinds. In this system we just select GPGGA and GPRMC. 2. DATA parse: Change the Greenwich Time to BeiJing Time . The judgement of data's validity, the calculation of bus'speed. 3. Data Store: the working mechanism of SM store card is block erasing and page writing. So the data should be stored in RAM firstly. After the data has accumulated to one page, restore them to SM card. 4. Sound Service: first, according to the label of the sound playing to judge weather there are sound data still be ready. When the data is ready, pick out the sound data's number from sound playing buffer, then play them in sequence number. The Data Dispose Center System of Intelligent City Bus Management System also include two parts-software and hardware. Hardware part include PC and printer. Software part include buses marshaling .running management. Printingand so on. We select WINDOWS2000 operation system for the software's manufacture, which is easy programming, easy maintaining and easy updating. And we select PowerBuilder9.0 to make the DB's operating program. This language is one of the most powerful tools to operate database. In this paper the paper has particularly introduced the working principle, circuit design and programming flow of the control circuit in using of MCS-51 single chip processor; The structure, working principle and design idea for GPS BOARD and it's data collection; The working principle and circuit design of SMC store card.
