The Research And Design Of The System Of Network-based Interactive And Intelligent Reference Service

On the basis of research of reference service, this paper brings forward the idea that designs and builds the system of network-based interactive and intelligent reference service that offers users all kinds of initiative or passive pertinent services, according to the content and means of reference service, via the Internet and based on the users' states or requires. And this paper makes good use of modem technology to substantiate the idea. Finally programs some part of the functions in the system.The first part of this paper introduces the concept, contents of reference service and status of reference service in and out of the country, and particularly shows the skills and process of retrieval service that is the basic reference service. Further brings forward the idea that designs the system of network-based interactive and intelligent reference service, and describes the task, requirements and functions of the system.The second part discusses the main technology that is used in the design of the system of network-based interactive and intelligent reference service, including intelligent retrieval technology, intelligent agent, Coach system and push technology.The third part describes in detail the design and the implement methods of the system of network-based interactive and intelligent reference service that includes intelligent search guidance module, intelligent service push module, interactiveteaching room module, asking reference desk module, librarians on call module and cooperative referencing module.The fourth part discusses the details to program some parts of function in the intelligent search guidance module, including the records layout, flow chart and the interface. And points out the character, shortcoming and the working follow-step.
