| The Rubber Dam Control System of Qiqihar makes use of the hardware such as valve controller and PLC for manual control of the rubber dam. Moreover, the system combines with the technology such as singlechip , MCGS and VB6.0 for automatic control of the rubber dam.At first, the operation principle of filling water and draining off water of the rubber dam is introduced in this paper, and the framework of the control system is put forward based on this.Secondly, in this paper, a set of software is designed to realize the communication between the singlechip, PLC and the intelligent instrument and the PC, based on RS-485 bus and the characteristics of the system about multi- equipment and multi- protocol.Finally, this paper splits the system into some basic control modules according to the characteristic of the system. The basic control modules including the modules of valve control, the modules of pump control, the modules of strobe control and the modules of data collection. The implementation of the basic control modules with software and hardware is introduced in this paper. The software of automatic control system is designed by using of MCGS, and the software call the basic control modules when in need, so the rubber dam control system is came into being.
