The real-time acquirement and process of trial data is important target of modern sonar equipments. The performance of data acquirement and process system is one of the main indexes describing the performance of sonar. A multi-channel data acquirement and process system was developed to meet the need of the portable echo sounder in the dissertation.A high-speed data acquirement and process system based on CPCI and DSP processing array was developed. Its interface with host is CPCI bus, which is compatible with and more reliable than PCI bus. The data acquirement part was made up of sixteen channels AD sampling circuit and the data process part was made up of eight-DSP array, which is TMS320VC5416 of TI Company. A ping-pong memory was designed as the cache for the transfers between the host and the processor array, and four UART serial ports were extended. The development of some software is introduced, including the drivers of hardware in Win2000, the bootloader and application programs of DSP. Besides, a new AGC method is introduced.The signal integrity of high-speed signal is introduced, including the concept of high-speed signal, the several common problems about signal integrity, noticeable problems in circuit design, and strategies to high-speed PCB and digital-analog mixed circuit layout.
