Annealing stove for pressure vessel is a heat-treated device. It is used to heat pressure vessel at certain temperature for some time then let it cool naturally. That can eliminates the whole stress of pressure vessel and prolongs its longevity.Annealing stove is a complex object. It has characters such as nonlinear, time varying. That is difficult to establish an exact mathematical model to describe it. Employ traditional PID control can not perfectly come up to the technics demands. Fuzzy control is a computer digital control algorithm which is based on fuzzy language, fuzzy reason and fuzzy set. It converts experience of operator into control strategy. It has good control performance for those nonlinear ,time varying system.Integrating merits of fuzzy control and traditional PID control, fuzzy PID control strategy is applied to control temperature. Work principle and fuzzy PID controller are presented in this paper. Fuzzy reasoning rules are set up in light of worker experience and expert knowledge.In terms of theory analysis and simulation, a fuzzy PID control system based on 16 bit 80C196KC microcomputer is designed. The results of experiment and simulation are identical, which shows that the theory is correct.
