Design And Development Of The Management System Based On Web Of The Information Of The Audio-Video On Demand

Resource sharing is an important feature of the network era. It holds no longer a dream to know everything of the world without stepping outside. However, the audio-video resources are characterized by large amount of data and high demand of timeliness, so their sharing is much more complex than ordinary text and picture information. The timely appearance of streaming media technology solves the problems occurring in the network transfer of the audio-video resources and realizes the streaming form of "downloading & playing". Then, there arises the problem of how to guarantee the users to quickly find suitable data among the mass of audio-video resources, and how to effectively manage these data?Based on the consideration of solving the above problems, we propose a research topic about the management system of the information of the audio-video on demand. As is known, such Web-based system aims to, with the least energy, realize the management of the audio-video resources, improve the utilization rate of the network and decrease the use-cost. The main purpose of this system is to provide a convenient management platform for query, and then to realize at use level the management of the audio-video resources.The present thesis firstly conducts the demand analysis and clearly defines the functional needs of the system. The main functions pursued by this system can be summarized as follows: management, query, charging, statistics, and the provision of use help.
