SIS (Supervisory Information System) in plant level is the outcome of power industry informationization. SIS, first put forward by an expert in1997, is an automatic information system including real-time supervision, optimal control and production process management. It effectively connects DCS (Distributed Control System) and MIS (Management Information System) of the power plant, improves information management level, lowers the cost and coal consumption, reduces the generating units’ malfunctions, monitors production quotas and diagnoses faults. This thesis gives a brief introduction to the research background and its significance, the concept of SIS and the development of SIS at home and abroad. The research is based on5th extension project of Junliangcheng Power Generation Co., LTD. It describes the status quo of information construction of the plant, the goals and requirements for using SIS. The requirements include design objectives, reference standard, hardware and safety requirements, database decision, interface standard, software functions and its running environment. It also explains the reason to choose PI database and makes comparison with other databases. In the part of design and implementation of the system, the author introduces integrated system design of network structure and hardwares, design and implementation of webpage, interface, program and system security and makes further explanations about system management and maintenance. SIS can cover information of power units, production curve, statistical management, load distribution, fault diagnosis and monitoring equipment. It briefly introduces client PI DataLink, PI ProcessBook and PI Active View of real-time PI database. The SIS performs a cohesive function between control system (Distributed Control System, remote measuring and controlling terminal system, auxiliary control network) and management information system, providing a database to Junliangcheng power plant. SIS plays a vital role in production process. Operators can use real-time data to analysis information and optimize the unit running which can reduce cost and improve management efficiency. Operators can have an overall control of production process. SIS, secure, economic and stable, has a positive effect on operating costs and management control. |
