The Design And Implement Of Waveform Application Interface Based On Software Communications Architecture

Software Radio Architecture is the concrete design structure, which realizes the Software Radio conception. It is the core technology of the Software Radio. For a long time it has been a research hot spot in the field of Software Radio home and abroad. The Software Communications Architecture (SCA) specification establishes an implementation independent framework with baseline requirements for the development of Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) software configurable radios.Based on the requirements of the application project of demonstration and proof, the paper first studies the Software Communications Architecture(SCA) specification, and analyses emphatically the core framework of software architecture and the application of CORBA technology in SCA. Then, the paper proposes the common framework of the waveform application design and development, according to which the paper designs and implements the waveform application interface based on SCA, and implements the process of creating, starting, querying, configuring and uninstalling. On the other hand, the paper designs and implements the Graphical User Interface (GUI), which encapsulates the remote method invoke of CORBA by the multilayer structure. The GUI provides the user the services of controlling and managing the whole SCA domain under the distributed environment, including property querying and configuring, application downloading, installing, starting and so on. In the end, the paper completes a wav eform demo according to the common development framework mentioned above, which proves the reasonability of the framework and the validity of waveform application interface function implemented.
