Embedded technology is one of the new development fields of industry control. Withthe Internet developing quickly, network has the characteristic of speediness,convenienceand width for transmitting information.Combining advantage of network and embeddedsystem and using embedded system in Internet will have wide foreground. Nowadays, inthe Internet control field, mostly, control unit and computer transmit informationsymmetrically through the Ethernet port. This design uses a structure of non-symmetrical.It receives orders that sent out by PC's serial port through serial port of RCM2200 andsends data through RCM2200's Ethernet port. Consequently, this structure improvesefficiency and enhances stability, real time and security of system.This subject researches theory, communication protocol, hardware and sofeware ofthe control unit based on RCM2200. The design encircles the exploitation of control unitthat used produce field bottom and unfolds the research on Embeded Ethernet. This subjectanalyzes control unit based on RCM2200 and technology of control network in detail. Thepaper analyzes technical characteristics of the unit and it's structure of pin,transmissionof message, communication and it's I/O and achieves the control unit design based onRCM2200.Firstly, this paper introduces background of this project and analyzes the developmentand characteristics of communication technology based on Ethernet. It point out thepossibility of Ethernet used in field. It introduces three kinds of control system of networkstructure in detail-DCS, FCS, Ethernet-used in the field of autocontrol in the world. Thispart analyzes the problems of network control systems and forecasts the developmentaldirection in the future. This part introduces embeded Ehernet used in this project andexplains characteristics of embeded Ethernet with two aspacts of hardware and software.Secondly, according the embeded Ehernet, this paper researches asymmetricalnetwork universal control unit based on embeded system in detail. According toassignment and requirement of this subjece, it indicates the frame of the unit linked incontrol system and analyzes choice reasons of network type and introduces workingprinciple of the common control unit. It researches hardware of the control unit includeschoice type, basic of theory and working principle detailedly.Finally, this paper displays the software system of structure of the common controlunit and introduces Dynamic C program environment in detail that belongs to RCM2200module and analyzes the idea and theoretical basic of program. It shows most content ofprogram. Lastly, this part summarizes the whole thesis and expatiates the merit ofasymmetrical network universal control unit based on embeded system and brings forthdirections of job in the future. This part points out that the combination of embeded systemand Ethernet is indispensably developmental direction. The asymmetrical network universal control unit based on embeded system given inthis subject has been designed and debugged. It has achieved the designed functions. It cannot only be applied to industrial field but also as a demo system in the teaching of embededEthernet.
