With the fast development of modern information technology, the information to be processed increase immensely.The researches and applications of high_speed image acquisition and transfering,especially realtime image catch great interests from researchs all over the world. USB has the advantage of highspeed, HotPlugin, plug and play, easily to expand and engrossing less system resouce,etc.USBl.l has two kinds of speed: 1.5Mbps and 12MbPs, but USB2.0 has the speed of 480Mbps, which can meet with the demands of highspeed peripheral devices.This subject discusses the architecture and feature of USB including bus attributes,signal environment, data flow model,and so on.After that, it brings forward a design scheme of image acquisition and transfering with USB2.0 interface, which is based upon the defects of traditional industry bus,such as ISA , PCI.Then it designs and realizes the hardware system of the image acquisition and transfering with the USB interface, Programs firmware of CY7C68013 , it programs the USB device driver of the system.1.The characteristic of the introduction USB bus summarized, advantage and USB2.0 that USB bus compares with other buses and the difference between USB 1.1 and USB2.0.2.video transfer chip SAA7111A and USB2.0 of CYPRESS Company--CY7C68013 have made corresponding introduction. Have put forward the design plan of a highspeed picture gathering and transmission system based on CPLD and USB.3. Have introduced the existing method that the picture is gathered, the frame stores,According to handling up some characteristics of extreme point greatly of the real_time character of the system andCY7C68013,have put forward the new feasible method.According to the time sequence characteristic of the dateout of SAA7111A , have written the time sequence control procedure of CPLD and carried on emulation.4. According to the systematic demand,write the firmware procedure of USB.5. Write the driver of USB with Driver Studio.
