SPI's Practice Base On CMM

After ISO9001, software capability maturity model has become the main focus for all software organizations. Generally, we are concern about how we can understand CMM in an orderly manner, and how to use CMM to change the situation of software corporations' "handwork workshop", as well as how to improve, enhance the software development process and how to increase the quality of software development.In this thesis, I will discuss on how CMM system contents improve the process of software with regards to the problems, which were pointed out from the previous paragraph. And I also provide a new view that will improve the software development within our country.According to the author's experience of conducting software capability test on CMM, the author has proposed a new scheme, which is more comprehensive, and will enhance the capability of the software organizations in our country. In the procedure explanation of this new scheme, it has described in details on how to make improvement and standardize with the business objectives, how to make improvement based on the currently foundation, how to formulate out the high quality process on the system document with great efficiency on implementing the process model.Lastly, the thesis also introduces an example, which using CMM to improve the software process. This work was done by author when she work in a software company.
