Nowadays, China has entered into the World Trade Organization, it means that the Chinese enterprises will have chances to compete with the foreign enterprises in the world market. And all of the Chinese enterprises have to face the challenge from the international enterprises which have the advantage of information. Therefore, no other than the enterprises which give attention to both globalization and information can survive in the international competition.With the development of information technology, computers and network technology play more important part in modern enterprises. Now, all the functions of enterprises have no need to be at a same place, and the distribution of the departments is no longer a obstruction. So this virtual enterprise platform base on Web we set up in modern enterprises meets the need of development, and it can help enterprises improve the level of integrated management and the ability of responding to the market.Through the analysis of the degree of modern enterprises in China, this thesis clarifies that the virtual enterprise platform with full function is necessary. At the same time, after the research of virtual enterprise platform system, the thesis analyzes the base characters of virtual enterprises, and it also introduces the run modes of three successful virtual enterprises and the reasons of why they succeed.Following the introduction hereinbefore, the virtual enterprise platform system base on Web is described. Firstly, the relative technology of Microsoft.NET framework, which is used in this system, for example, Web Service, XML, network security and so on are introduced. Secondly, the design target, the system structure, and all the function of this system are described. Finally, the design and the implementation of all modules have been clarified in detail.
