Research On The Virtual Enterprise Information System Integration Based On Semantic Web Services

Virtual enterprise is a new enterprise management model in the 21st century, carrying out a mutually beneficial situation between cooperative enterprises through having complementary advantages and sharing resource with each other.It is an important method for enterprise to raise market competence.Virtual enterprise carries out quick reaction and effctive operation by its information system.Virtual enterprise information system is based on each member enterprise's business system,these systems are relatively independent and distribute to different regions,and also have isomerism in platform,protocol,data format and programming language.How to integrate these heterogeneous business systems,and form an open,lax coupling,dynamic virtual enterprise information system becames researching hotspot in industrial and academic circles.This thesis will fully absorb the existed research achievements,make use of the current advanced technologies,and put forward a new integration method of the virtual enterprise information system based on Semantic Web Services.In recent years Web Services have become the predominant technologies with integration of heterogeneous systems.Web Services adopt SOA architecture,opened and standardized protocols such as SOAP,WSDL,UDDI and XML,so as to resolve the problem of intercommunication and interoperability within the heterogeneous systems by the root.But the traditional Web Services lack well-defined semantics,can't satisfy the needs of dynamic virtual enterprise information system integration.So the Semantic Web Services bring semantics to Web Services.Semantic Web Services describe Web Services' capabilities in unambiguous,computer-interpretable ontology language,that will greately enhance the automation of interoperability within services,and carry out the cooperative work of virtual enterprise.This thesis expounds the Semantic Web Services detailly.Firstly it deeply introduces Web Services and Semantic Web from their concepts,characteristics,architecture and key technologies such as SOAP,WSDL,UDDI,OWL and Ontology.Then it proposes Semantic Web Services,and gives detailed analysis about Semantic Web Services' description language OWL-S,that lays technologic foundation on the research in this thesis. This thesis makes a deep research of virtual enterprise from its concept. characteristics,operational mode,life cycle,composition and management,etc.Based on the characteristics of the virtual enterprise information system,it analyzes the principle of integration,and puts forward multi-layer structure and Functional mechanism of virtual enterprise information system,that lays theoretical foundation on the research in this thesis.From the research mentioned above,this thesis analyzes actualities and deficiencies of virtual enterprise information system architecture,and puts forward a new architecture of the virtual enterprise information system based on the Semantic Web Services.It also gives specific introductions on each component of the system architecture.Finally,this thesis realizes the integration of the virtual enterprise information system from technical angle.It puts forward a new description model of Web Services, and makes definition of the documents in this model.This thesis completes the realization of match algorithm and the design of match process.It also puts forward a new performance model of the business process and business process description language-BPDL,which carries out operation of the business process.
