Network information resource integration refers to a new research field that it is wide content, strongly colligated. This paper systemically analyzes and studies the problem of network information resource integration in digital library from theory of integration, policy and method, system and instrument and so on aspects. It is expected to utilize advanced integration theory and modern technology including computer technology, network technique and database to optimize digital information. In respond to certain demand, network integration amalgamates and restructures all distinct digital objects, function structure and mutual relationship of digital information to form a new organic whole which boasts of higher efficiency and greater performance.This paper mainly include such following points:Firstly, it gives the outline description of digital library network information integration theory. Based on a display of present situation of digital library network information integration construction and management, an overall comprehension of latest research on digital library network integration home and abroad, a generalization of its basic concept and meaning, this paper makes an explicit explain of digital library network information integration's concept, meaning and their development process.
