Research Of Information Resourse Integration For Digitial Libraries In The Networked Environment

With the networking technology development, information resources in academic libraries are getting more and more rich, the digitized tendency is getting more and more obvious. In order to better serve for the reader and cause readers to refer to the more literature resources in the shortest time, the research of the library information resource integration has been paid attention to the domestic and foreign library pursuers. In recent years the information resource integration technology enhanced day by day.In view of the present situation of information resource integration technology for academic library in China, this article analyzes the representative information resource systems of academic libraries and key technologies of the resources integration. Based on the present library information resource integration systems and the technology research, take the information resource system of the library in Ocean University of China as the background, information resource integration plan of academic libraries is researched. The major research contents in this article are summarized as follows.1. Take the research development of the domestic and foreign information resource integrations as a background, the present situation and the weakness of the information resource integration of academic libraries in China are summarized.2. One analyzes the rule, procedure, and research approach of the information resource integration for academic libraries, as well as the structure, model, and object of the information resource integration system. Three layers, i.e., the representation level, the application layer and the primal data level of the library resource integration systems are researched.3. To thetypical information resource integration system, overseas MetaLib/SFX, and domestic CNKI and CALIS are carried on the compareson analysis. The evaluative criteria on developing and importing information resource integration systems of the academic libraries are given.4. Take the library of Ocean University of China as an example, one proposes information resource integration plans which contain books, journals, master and doctor articles, and IP addresses, where the IP address integration plan of the electronic reading and IP address dynamic assigning and the reader computer solution screen plan are researched in depth, and implementing algorithms are proposed.
