Traditional Computer Color Matching in dyeing is always limited in some assumptions in the dyeing course, and the algorithm is complex. A new method based on digital computer color matching is proposed in the paper in order to reduce the complex both in calculating and collecting samples and avoid the errors in doing that.The main content of the research includes:Research on the characteristics of digital input and output equipment used in CCM and simulation. Through the experiments it can be found that using digital equipment instead of analog equipment can reduce the complex of operation.Research on the CCM method. Traditional CCM method is not suit for the information collected by digital equipment. And the assumptions in it lead to errors in CCM. The new method is being researched and compared with neural network and mathematics modeling,.The algorithm used in neural network is mainly about BP algorithm and improved BP algorithm that are used to realize the nonlinear mapping between the information of color and the mixing proportion of different dyes. In the experiments, obvious convergence of the network can be found. But there are still some deviations from the actual proportion.The emphasis of the research is about the method of mathematics modeling. The modeling of CCM algorithm, the numerical optimization and linear programming theories are constructed. The mapping relationship between the color information and the dyeing formula is established in the paper.
