The traditional color matching method for textile dyeing by experiences cannot meet the needs of modern production for color matching in textile dyeing. In order to solve this problem, a mathematical model for the three stimulus values CMY and the dye weight concentrations has been established by collecting and analyzing the actual data from a factory. We analyze this model by polynomial least square approximation and polynomial regression, and then we solve the dye concentrations with the Newton iteration method.Verification results show that the error between the experimental values and the actual values is very small. So this model has higher accuracy, and it can be used in actual productions.The first chapter of this paper mainly describes the purpose and meaning of subject research, and also describes the development course of computer color matching technology and the computer color matching technology nowadays. The main content of this chapter is the innovation point of this research project. The second chapter describes the theoretical basis of the computer color matching. The third chapter describes the mathematical theoretical knowledge used in this paper, including the numerical analysis,the polynomial least square approximation, polynomial regression, the polynomial significance testing and so on. The fourth chapter is the first aspect of main content of this paper, which explains the entire process the establishment of the mathematical model of the three stimuli CMY and the dye weight concentration d in the same concentrations. The fifth chapter is the second aspect of main content of this chapter, which explains the entire process the establishment of the mathematical model of the three stimulus CMY and the dye weight concentration d1,d2,d3 in the different concentrations. Finally the sixth chapter of this paper summarizes and analyzes the established model, and points out the advantages and deficiency of this color matching method.The research of this paper indicates that the accuracy of this model is high enough. So the model has high practical value, and can be applied in actual production.
