In study of textile color matching problems, two different ideas were proposed in this paper to solve the problems due to the nature of dyes, and two models was established. The first method is mathematical modeling and will focus on the regular situation of the relationship between three dyes and the CMY tristimulus values. The second method is neural network method and mainly for the complex situation of the relationship between three dyes and the CMY tristimulus values. Both the two methods are established and verified.The first chapter describes the background of computer color matching technology, status and classification. The second chapter describes the basic principles of colorimetry, color space and color difference judgments. These are involved in basic Textile Color Matching theory. The third chapter introduces the basic theory of mathematical modeling and introduced by interpolation and curve fitting knowledge. The fourth chapter includes the specific analysis of the Textile Color Matching issues, and curve fitting method is chosen to establish and validate a suitable mathematical model to solve this problem. Chapter five introduces the theory of artificial neural network, combined with the characteristics of neural networks to improve neural networks, and on this foundation to establish and verify the solution for the problem of textile color matching.Through this study, the mathematical modeling method and neural network method can resolve textile color matching problem, but the two methods for different targets have their own specific advantages and disadvantages. These are two new ideas and solutions to resolve the issues of textile color matching. Both methods have certain theoretical and practical value.
