Theory And Practice Of Research-Oriented Learning Based On Network Application

Since 1990s, reconstructing the whole courses based on theory of research-oriented learning has become an extraordinary character of course reformation in many countries. It is well known that network has many advantages such as unlimited space and time, abundant source on line and dynamic interactivity .Therefore , research-oriented learning can be adequately realized through online education. It's significant for breaking out the state which contents and methods of online education are the same as that of traditional education for internal or external. So discussion of research-oriented learning based on network application has been necessary for improving quality of online education further. On the basis of exploring some relative concepts and theories, my study emphasizes on every key sector of research oriented learning and relationship among them as college students study on line, and constructs a research-oriented learningmodel elementarily. My study also takes example for The Medical Instructional Technology supported by The Instructional Technology Center of the Fourth Military Medical University, and practically analyses it's research oriented learning of that.The concept of research-oriented learning has two meanings. One point is the courses of it and another point is the methods of it. It's also an idea of learning centering on creating environment for inquiring problem, which make students construct knowledge and ability initiatively and develop roundly. My study points that "research-oriented learning" "inquiry learning" and "discovery learning" not only have something in common, but also have their own emphases. Because of this, my study yet compares research-oriented learning with traditional perceiving learning from center clue of learning course, attention center of learning activities, and three differences of learning space, learning course, and learning activities, Furthermore, this study will make a summary for views about research oriented learning from different countries. Finally, there comes a general realization of research-oriented learning based on the application to online education.History of education indicates that establishment of any education theory and point has close relation with formation of learning theory. So we can draw a conclusion that the latter build a basic basis for the former. Application to research-oriented learning online education requires directly learning theory as itsbasis. Therefore, we select multi-intelligence theory and cognitive flexibility theory which have strong pertinence and great meaning and explicate the inspiration that they bring to research-oriented learning from different angle after analyzing several modern learning theories. Based on those theories, from many angles andways such as analysis of tropism of learning objectives------selection and design of learning content------establishment andmanagement of learning group------design of course of researchoriented learning------selection of learning evaluation, establishment of networks and development of teachers, my study constructs a research oriented learning model elementarily.By choosing the contents of The Medical Instructional Technology edits chiefly by professor Xie Baizhi as course content, we try to design special research projects for that, leading students to perform research oriented learning, directing and evaluating their learning on line. After watching and meditating the whole course, we get the operational process of research-oriented learning. And through the large sample questionnaire to students, we get the authorization degree of students' attitudes to research-oriented learning on line.In a word, my study breaks out the traditional model of online education, expands the applicable field of research-oriented learning from original education to high education on line, enriches and develops online course and instructional theory, constructs a research oriented learning model elementarily, and...
