Online learning is not new in the world, but the application of the learning process in Vietnam is not effective, especially in Vietnam’s credit system which deserves a thorough analysis, a broader range of study regarding situations and solutions such as:managing the system, security and privacy, monitoring learners; also the schools should ensure fair assessment and experimental research rather than waiting for a macro policy in the future.Online learning has become popular in Vietnamese universities. In1986, Vietnam applied a credit system to address the effectiveness of online learning. However, online learning has not yet been fully evaluated; The majority have only performed implementation and adjustment that have not yet resulted in comprehensive assessment or evaluation feedback from teachers and learners, which is crucial because teachers and learners are the two most important factors in the teaching process. During the process of implementing online learning, we have built an online learning system and conducted learning training results; we have also collected feedback from learners about the following courses:General Informatics at Hue University, Applied Informatics for students at Phu Xuan Non-Public University, Information Applications in Education and Office Informatics for distance learning students in Vietnam and Software Engineering for Information Technology students at Hue university’s College of Education. Given the current research situation of Vietnam’s credit system, we propose six levels of models and solutions to this situation, and then to affirm the effectiveness of online learning with the credit system in Vietnam. We conducted experiments to build and develop an Android Electronic-learning system (AE-learning) as an online training module. We then tested two groups:subjects learning through traditional methods and those learning through the online learning method. The feedback data collected from the learners over a long period of time and categorized by institutions include:type of training, the features of learners, the learner degree, the learner’s name, study time, courses, and locations; combined with the corresponding results from the courses, this will provide insight into the efficiency as well as the difficulties of implementing online learning in Vietnam.To cope with the problems specific to implementing this system with the current credit system form, we propose some solutions to deal with difficulties and issues in our system and to overcome the common difficulties and issues with the credit system in Vietnam today.An online learning model in the system is an effective solution for training credit problem in Vietnam today, from the evaluation, feedback, regression analysis, results analysis and the proposed solutions for operating an AE-learning system.To overcome these security challenges for learners and teachers, we proposed some techniques in this thesis which comes with three key methods:(1) Propose solutions for users regarding the risks of intrusion due to security vulnerability when using an Android mobile device to study.(2) Propose privacy solutions to control and save the identities of configured devices and learning objects with the Android Virtual Learner Identify system (AVLI).(3) Propose solutions for the password encryption method (one-way MD5encryption) and the data encryption method (Base64encryption) in an e-learning system on the PHP platform and in an A-learning system is on the Java platform, because the security solutions would be effective in connecting two platforms on the system.The security solutions that we have proposed, will not only impact teachers and learners, but are also effective solutions to manage and resolve current policy issues in Vietnamese education. The A-learning system is not only a suitable solution with a telecommunications infrastructure for the current conditions in Vietnam but system that can work towards business learning with projects in the near future.
