Research On Knowledge Base And Coordination By Communication For Mobile Agent

Mobile agent paradigm is a novel paradigm for distributed computing. Mobile agent technology provides wide applications in many domains such as active network, mobile computing, network management. However, mobile agent is still immature. There are lots of questions in mobile agent technology. Standardization is just started. There is not large-scale killer application of mobile agent paradigm yet.The dissertation is mainly focused on expression of knowledge and storage of knowledge base for mobile agent system. In addition, the dissertation research into communication and coordination for mobile agent technology. The main contributions of this dissertation are described as follows:(1) The dissertation has realized expression and storage for the knowledge base of mobile agent system on the base of OIL: we use OIL to depict the UML Model, so realize expression for knowledge. Furthermore, we store knowledge base by SQL Server 2000.(2) The CCagent model for communication and coordination is established: to solve the communication failure by referring to Lind-like coordination. We overcome the semantic problem of coordination by FIPA ACL. We construct the CCagent model based on Aglets System.(3) We implement the thinking which depict message of communication by XML so that mobile agent adapt to the open and heterogeneous environment.
